Welcome to the Washington Army National Guard Official page for the 30th Annual Lewis and Clark Rendezvous held in Tulalip and Seattle, WA on August 16th - 18th. Washington wants to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to all RRAC VI recruiters and their leadership. We are looking forward to an excellent event that builds the esprit de corps within RRAC VI and fosters an attitude of cooperation and best practices sharing across the RRAC.
The Lewis and Clark expedition was a military expedition led by Captain Meriwether Lewis and Captain William Clark. As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Lewis and Clark Rendezvous we want to take this opportunity to recall the history of the original expedition and spend some time getting back to the roots of the expedition. We've incorporated historical events mixed with modern day challenges to present a broad spectrum of events for all to enjoy. We encourage maximum participation in all events and promise there will be plenty of time to visit Seattle and see the sights.
Welcome to Washington,

Commanders and Sergeants Major put together your best teams for this, State versus States, Best Ball Golf Scramble! Tournament format will consist of 16 four person teams from RRAC 6 personnel only with each team playing alternating shot best ball golf. The tournament will be held at the Battle Creek Golf course in close vicinity to the Tulalip Casino. Strip maps will be available in all participant’s gift bags received during the initial conference registration. Soldiers participating will move to the course the morning of the tournament, sign in, hit some range balls, receive a safety and tournament rules brief and then play golf. The top three finishing teams will be presented a trophy to take home to their state. Only eight spots are available per state and greens fees are free. States need to pick their teams prior to arriving in Washington and ensure all Soldiers participating have registered and selected to play golf on the registration site. Bring your own clubs if possible as rental sets are sparse and carts are optional at Soldier’s expense. Sharing clubs will not be authorized.
This event is based on the tasks commonly completed by the Lewis and Clark Expedition. The event will test your Soldier’s agility, strength and mental dexterity. Competitors will do all sorts of fun things to include paddle a raft, roll a half filled whiskey barrel and throw some hatchets during this time-based competition. Each state must ensure that all competitors are registered on the registration page before traveling to Washington.
No Limit Texas Hold’em at its best! This tournament is presented by the Tulalip Casino for the Lewis and Clark conference. This tournament is the real deal, with tournament tables and dealers. A full scale tournament, with all the best and worst players from RRAC 6 competing for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies to take home to their state makes for an excellent event. All skill levels are welcomed and encouraged to participate. More tournament details will be disseminated during conference registration. Each state must ensure that all competitors are registered on the registration page before traveling to Washington.
Bring your poles and your pride to win this fishing derby Lewis and Clark style! With two trophies being awarded, one for biggest fish and one for most fish caught, your Northwestern outdoorsman image is at stake. The event will be held in conjunction with the triathlon at the Jim Creek MWR Recreational Area and maximum participation is encouraged. Pole rentals and bait stores are on site to meet your fishing needs, to include sales of one day licenses and park fishing passes. Each state is authorized an unlimited number of participants; bringing your own poles is encouraged as rentals are limited.
